San Jose, Ca. – Riverview Systems Group, a leading full-service audio/visual resource, specializing in the rental, sale, design staging and installation of lighting, sound and projection systems, today announced the addition of Medialon Show Control II and Manager V4 Software to their inventory.

Show Control Machine II

Show Control Machine II is an industrial rack mountable PC customized for Medialon Manager Software, specifically designed for show control needs. Provided with a rugged case, Medialon Manager’s time base tasks are used to control the running of the show and its step base tasks are created to control the schedule and to interrupt the show to display specific messages. The system‘s position tracking is another key feature. If a device is controlled by a timeline, it can be locked to that timeline. Moving back and forth in the timeline during rehearsals will relocate devices to their correct positions at that given time. In addition, the embedded GUI programming tool has been designed to allow fast and easy programming of the control panel and touchscreen inside the software itself.

Manager V4 Show Control Software PRO

Medialon Manager V4 software for Windows, controls and synchronizes digital audio and video, lighting dimmers and desks, matrix switchers, image processors, videowalls, lasers, fireworks, special effects and more, all over one network. It offers frame-accurate synchronization, even on digital video; DMX; MIDI; serial acquisition and editing; multitasking; and permanent device position tracking to optimize producers’ creativity. It’s graphical programming and customizable user interface adapts to exactly meet customers’ needs and allows development of sophisticated locked applications. The programming GUI has been designed to ease and reduce programming time with drag-and-drop and programming wizard. Shortcuts and direct access to all functionalities will allow complete programming and show performance from dedicated control surface or lighting desks, eliminating stressful mouse manipulation during show performances. No code-programming skills are required even for complex shows. Medialon Manager uses plug ins called MxM (Medialon X Object Module) to interface with external devices and software.

System & Data Back-Up

Show Control Machine III is equipped with two swappable hard disks. The first disk is used for system application and data. The second disk being an exact copy of the first one, can be used for data back-up and system booting from the original disk signature if necessary.

Granted with 4 PCI slots the Show Control Machine II and PRO incorporates many accessories, including RS232, RS422 PCI boards, Time Code boards, DMX512, and 32 I/O boards. Show Control Machine III also includes 4 built-in serial RS232 ports and MIDI connectors. A double SVGA output board allows an extra display which can be used either as a distant back-stage information panel or simply as an extension screen to increase visual comfort during programming.
