Earlier this year Team Blue partnered with Trademark Events providing production design and execution for the Xamarin Evolve 16 corporate event — the largest cross-platform mobile event in the world, where over 1,500 developers, industry leaders and Xamarin experts converged to advance the state of the art, discuss mobile strategy and define the future of apps.
What was remarkable was how the project changed dramatically one month before the event when Xamarin was acquired by Microsoft, resulting in increased interest from the media, from Microsoft execs/partners and from end users about what the deal meant for them. Much more was riding on this event now, especially the keynote from Xamarin CEO Nat Friedman.
As Riverview’s CEO Evan Williams said, “Nearly 60 days before the conference, Xamarin was acquired by Microsoft, requiring an elevation of the entire event profile.”
